Baby Birds!

Baby Birds!

  • It's the time of year when baby birds are learning to fly, and you may see some on the ground in your garden or whilst walking your dog.
  • It is very important that you leave them where they are, unless they are injured.
  • Their parents are usually nearby and will be keeping an eye on them as they learn to fly. If the bird is injured then please do call us, however there is very little that we an do for uninjured birds and they will be much worse off at the Vets than they will be where you found them.
  • If you think that a baby bird is in imminent danger from your cat, then keep your cat indoors until the bird has gone, failing that, try to put the bird back in it's nest if you can tell which one it is.
