Emily Caddick BVSc CertAVP MRCVS
Clinical Director and Certficate
Holder in Small Animal Medicine
Emily graduated from Bristol in
July 2007 and joined Nine Mile Vet Hospital shortly afterwards. She developed a keen interest in small animal
medicine and completed her RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (in
small animal medicine) in May 2011.
Since starting at Nine Mile, Emily has been responsible for a vast
quantity of the MRI scans including syringomyelia screening in Cavalier
Spaniels. Emily briefly left in October
2011 but couldn't keep away and returned to us in April 2012 as the Clinical
Director. She is thoroughly enjoying
being back. In her spare time Emily enjoys travelling, reading and seeing films
and has two extremely naughty tabby cats!!
Duncan Greeff MRCVS CertAVP (GSAS)
Certificate Holder in Small Animal
qualified from the Royal Veterinary
College and has always had a keen interest in small animal surgery. He
year as an intern at Dick White Referrals furthering his skills and
and is currently in the final stages of his Certificate in Advanced
Practice in Small Animal Surgery. He is particularly interested in
and minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery.
He has two exuberant Springer
Spaniels - Jonty and Mo who keep him very busy outside of work!
Nicola Avery MA VetMB CertSAS MRCVS
Certificate Holder in Small Animal
Nicola joined Nine Mile Veterinary
Group in 2004, having graduated from Cambridge University. She gained her
certificate in small animal surgery in 2008 and has special interests in both
orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery. Nicola sees a wide range of surgical cases
both from within the group and from other practices. In her spare time Nicola
Jo Rogers BVSc MRCVS
joined Nine Mile Veterinary Group in 1994 after graduating from Bristol
Veterinary School and loved it so much she hasnít left. Jo currently sees
patients on Mondays and Fridays and has a particular interest in canine and
feline internal medicine, especially endocrinology. Jo has 2 cats, including a
3 legged one, as well as chickens. In her spare time Jo enjoys cooking and
gardening and running - however not at the same time!!
Hurst BVetMed MCRVS
graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (University of London) in 2011 and
spent his first two years at a small animal practice in Reading. After spending
another year at a small animal hospital in Egham he joined the Nine Mile
team in February 2015. George has developed a keen interest in small animal
surgery (both orthopaedic and soft tissue) and is currently studying towards
his Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. In his spare time, George enjoys
mountain biking, skiing and going to festivals.
Joey Kapf BVetMed MCRVS
Joey graduated from the Royal
Veterinary College in 2012, after which she spent a month working with a veterinary charity in Morocco. Since then she has enjoyed both the medical and
surgical sides of working in small animal practice, and has developed a particular
interest in ophthalmology.
Aside from trying to keep her
two cats Cleo and Little Man out of mischief, Joey enjoys skiing, snowboarding
and yoga in her spare time.
Alice Hardy BVetMed MCRVS
Alice qualified from Bristol in July 2016 and has since moved back to the area to live near her family. She works at both the Farnborough and Nine Mile clinics. After graduating, Alice spent some time volunteering at a charity clinic in India, treating injured and sick strays and neutering street dogs.
Alice spends much of her free time with her two horses; Lupin and Sean, but also enjoys swimming and baking.
She enjoys all aspects of the job and has a particular interest in emergency and critical care. Alice also studied an elective in communication skills at university so hopes she is able to come across as a friendly face!
Alice spends two days a week at Nine Mile Hospital and two days at Farnborugh Vets
