Meet the Team - Farnborough Vet Centre

Kristina Kirk BVM&S MRCVS
Head Veterinary Surgeon
Kristina joins us as Head Vet at Farnborough Veterinary Centre whilst Debbie is on maternity leave.  Originally an RVC 2011 graduate, she started in Cornwall, working with both small and large animals. After 2 years of truly varied experience she decided to make the move back towards London in order to improve her small animal expertise and has just completed a 2 year position in a busy small animal hospital in Egham. As well as medicine she is also interested in ultrasound imaging and soft tissue surgery. This year she started an advanced practitioner certificate in Small Animal Medicine and hopes to become a Feline Medicine specialist in time.

In her spare time Kristina likes to travel, having spent many holidays with her family in France and Italy. She also enjoys keeping fit and has completed 2 half marathons, with her 3rd taking place this September.
She has two cats, Minnie and Teazle, both acquired through her work in Cornwal with the Cats Protection League. They can often be found either looking for food or sleeping on her bed when she isn't looking.

Although this is her first role as a Head Vet, Kristina has worked in sole charge of a branch practice before and is looking forward to meeting you all at Farnborough Veterinary Centre where she aims to continue the stellar service that Debbie and the veterinary team has established here, building on its excellence with CVS.
